Supreme Heir, one of the many top show horses sired by Supreme Sultan, has emerged as one of his very best breeding sons.  The attributes of Sultan are well known, and many of his sons have gone on to stud.  Few, however, have a female line comparable to Supreme Heir, which is certainly a factor in his success in the breeding shed.

CH Supreme Airs, the dam of Supreme Heir, was a black fine harness contender, purchased as a three year old by Charles Crabtree for Mrs. F.D. Sinclair from her breeder, Alice Seabright.  Her sire, Stonewall Supreme, a great-doing bay son of Stonewall King, led the sire ratings in 1969.

CH Supreme Airs' dam, Crebilly's Plumb Beautiful, was by Beau Fortune, the five gaited stallion who sold for $50,000 in 1946, the highest price up to that time.  His dam was Anacacho Princess, a great mare who also produced Beau Gallant and the walk-trot sensation Schellcrest Calypso.  She was a full blood sister to CH Anacacho Shamrock, sire of CH Wing Commander. Crebilly's Plumb Beautiful also was the dam of Supreme Fancy, Supreme Fascination, Supreme Innovation and You're The Fire.

Following the distaff side of Supreme Air's pedigree leads to Crebilly's Whirlwind, one of the famed 19 foals of the Hall of Fame Broodmare Wild Wind.  Among her produce were Wild Genius, Front Page Lady, Front Cover, As Beauty Does, and CH Heavenly Gaze.

CH Supreme Airs holds nine World's Championship titles, including the Fine Harness World's Grand Championship of 1972. She won the two-year-old, three-year-old, and junior blue ribbons, as well as two amateur stakes, and was World's Champion Fine Harness Mare in 1969, 1970 and 1972.  Tom McCray showed her as a two-year-old for Seabright's Wakitatina Farm, but from that time on, Charles Crabtree did the training, and he and Mrs. Sinclair showed her.

In addition to producing Supreme Heir, CH Supreme Airs was the dam of the Fine Harness World's Grand Champion CH Foxfire's Prophet, and another "blue hen," Putting On Airs.  The produce of Putting on Airs included Harlem Globetrotter, Yorktown Magic, Yorkshire Pudding, World's Champion Manhattan Airs, Big City Airs and Starlike Express.
